My very NT auntie doesn't like that I've become more 'dishonest' over the years.

Mostly just because I genuinely don't care about certain stuff anymore & tell her so.

She wants me to be perfectly honest about outfits like I was in childhood. In childhood, there were 4 types of ladies' outfit for me: 1 suitable for my cousin (childlike) 2 suitable for my mother (womanlike) 3 suitable for my auntie (ladylike) 4 suitable for my mother's friend who kissed a lot of guys (tarty).

My politics has advanced beyond that so I don't see it like that anymore. She still wants to know if I find a particular dress tarty or frumpy or too young for her. I refuse to say. I just say 'ask my cousins, I don't know much about women's fashion'*

* I'm ftm, I've known my gender since childhood & I wear menswear which I honestly don't care much about 90% of the time as long as it's comfy - sometimes I dress smart but not often.
