I'm sorry to hear (pun) that you have Tinnitus, firemonkey.

I've had bilateral tinnitus 24/7 since 2008. I even hear it in my dreams like a backdrop. It's a very high pitched sound like a million mosquitoes and bees on helium, across my whole head, with intermittent fax machine noises on either side.

I saw all sorts of specialists at the time it started, but nothing helped. The remedies and naturopathic treatments they sell online didn't help either. The only relief I get is that I can't hear it when I'm in a hot shower.

It's very difficult to ignore it when this begins. I hope you find some relief, and that it doesn't become permanent.

^ Thanks Isabella . I have to say at the moment it's not too bad, except at bedtime. Hopefully it won't get worse.
