I've been a landlord and a property manager, and done OK mainly because I'm also a good handyman. I have not been tempted to get back into it deliberately.
Again, I would really advise against making any long term plans based on historic markets. We are headed for chaos, with a crisis coming from every direction.

I say go with either Option 4 or 5.

Do what you feel may leave you most fulfilled on a personal level at the end of it, regardless of finances. Something that will make you say "I'm glad I did that".

What would that look like for you? Helping the poor? Helping animals? Improving the lives of children?

Of course, this is from a viewpoint where I don't see the accumulation of wealth as personally fulfilling. For me, fulfilling would be having made a difference in the lives of others. People I don't necessarily know personally, are better off (not necessarily monetary) for me having done something.
