Another vote for Keto. I know people claim this as a cure for pretty much everything, I started doing keto because I had cancer and there's some evidence it's good for that. But the far greater effect is that it's smoothed out my moods. I used to be up and down and my diet was so random I was never able to see how certain foods affected me. On keto my mood is stable, I'm rarely depressed without reason. I feel like exercising too (I run) which is obviously beneficial for depression too. But because Keto is quite a restricted diet, when I do have a wobble and eat something that throws me out of ketosis - grains mainly, sugar too - I get depressed within hours, regardless of what's going on in my life. It's made it so clear to me that diet is a massive factor in mental health. I'm not saying go keto (I am, actually, it's awesome) but be hyper-aware of what you eat and how you feel afterwards.
