If you are high functioning you might want to consider working with lower functioning people. If you have a high IQ, consider that not all people with autism are intellectually gifted and might need daily help with tasks. Some autistics are also dyslexic, or have more serious intellectual disabilities. There is an entire industry in special education and long term care for the mentally handicapped. As a high functioning autistic, your experience may be valuable in said industries.

Once I realized that customer-facing service type jobs were slowly killing me, I got a job with a housecleaning service, which I loved. Eventually went to college for accounting; it’s not my passion, but it came easily to me and it’s a line of work that suits my needs (repetitious, predictable, very little social interaction).

My advice if you have the ability to learn on your own:
There are many resources online, many of the free, to learn coding languages and as long as you can demonstrate that you know the language(s) you will get a job. Don't let the certification test prices dissuade you, just learn and demonstrate. It is important to start a github and put all of your code into it as a portfolio. I'd start with Python because it is used everywhere now, especially in data analysis, and is one of the easier languages.

Try searching indeed and glassdoor for coding jobs to see what else employers are looking for. In the location section of the search specify remote so that you can work from home. One of them has a checkbox (Google job search maybe) that narrows the search to remote only.

The links below are for Python Institute (I'm learning through there now) and freeCodeCamp. With freeCodeCamp you can start at the beginning and become a full stack dev then go on for Python careers. All free.

I just earned a bachelor's in computer science but, it's not specific enough and didn't include Python so I have to fill in the gaps on my own.

Also try searching online for recruiter services that specializes in placement for Aspies.
