What matters is "do they produce surplus milk?". Surplus beyond feeding their own young?

Humans have managed to breed both cows and goats to give surplus milk. But not any other species that I know of. And that includes pigs. So I dont believe that there is pig based diary industry supplying the government with milk for poor folks. Maybe that lady is nuts.

We breed cattle to give more milk, enough for twins, but then we kill the calves and take it all. We even feed the surviving calves on formula. It's factory life, with no comforts at all.
