I second the motion. Not too many years ago most of the clothes I owend were in shades of blue and grey. I also like dark red. Bright colors tend to irritate me. And I don't really like green because I am red-green color blind, and shades of green (and some shades of red) that are not either annoyingly bright or very deep and intense tend to be indistinguishable from brown.

My favorite color is purple...pale lilac/lavender shades are my favorites, but any purple will do. after that is any pale shades...peachy pink/melon, green, blue, then blue, green, orange, yellow, etc. I don't really like black or red.

Man, there are too many dull colour lovers here. Y'all need to get in touch with your African roots.

Not bright is not necessarily dull. Dark, intense colors (that don't hurt yout eyes) are very nice. For me one of the issues is that my primary sensory sensitivity is bright lights. I like dark in general. Bright things give me a headache. So I guess bright colors in dim light would be OK.

My favourite colour is Pink.

My next favourite colours are light pastel versions of all colours, and the metallics.

I also like Red.

Red and Black go together well for me, blue and grey (for some reason) and red and white. I also like purple, green, blue and orange. Black's just too dark and white is too bright.

I like natural colours best, as I can wear those.
I like black too.
I like to look at bright colours sometimes and anything metallic fascinates me.
Can't wear orange, red or pink well, as they tend to clash with red hair.

I like deep, dark colors and any shade/hue of purple. I feel more comfortable wearing dark colors partially because I'm chubby and partially because I just like them better than bright colors (with purple being the exception... I have a couple of bright purple shirts and they are the greatest shirts ever :-p).

I also prefer cool colors like green and blue to warm colors like yellow and red.

I love blue, which is the color I decorated my apartment. But for some reason, I hate turquoise and when I had to throw away my beautiful blue rug with yellow flowers, I had to settle for a solid turquoise rug because, for some reason, rugs come in every color but blue.(can anyone explain this?)

Any color on the rainbow is pretty to me, especially a bunch of them in combination. When I was a teenager, I had a day-glow floresant pink coat with green, purple and orange accents. The first day I wore that coat to school, the colors made my eyes hurt.

Blue - because it's really beautiful and make me feel more relaxed.
And black - because it's .. nothing.

I just bought my daughter a dark pink/purple furry chair for her bedroom and she has a leopard skin duvet cover - looks great!

Blue, not so much light blue. Mainly electric and cobalt blue. I like the moderate shades of green, as well.
