Aaron,

Thanks for making Patty's get-well guestbook, I am taking the liberty to post the information to InLv (my support mailing list for AC's and friends) and elsewhere.

One thing though, the information that she works in California is incorrect - she lives in Georgia, and I am pretty sure that she does not work at a group home. I suspect that is a different Patty.

Thanks McDutchie... if anybody can correct this, send me a PM.

Patty Clarke is a member of ANI and also a board member of the ASA chapter of Atlanta, Georgia. She has been to autreat and also to many conferences. She is in an adult support group and does lots of outreach to the rest of the world about autism. Her message is always positive and something we would be proud of. She is one of most considerate and genuine people I have ever met. I have stayed with her and her partner, Jared, a couple of times.

We will ask the more than 1700 people at the opening of the ASA National Conference to send her some good vibes.

Patty's condition hasn't improved. They still have her on sedation and a respirator. Also her heart condition is affecting her healing.

I've recieved sad news that Patty's condition is rather grave. Her doctors don't have much positive to say.

I agree as well. I didn't know Patty very well, but it sounds like she put lots of hard work into showing the world about autism.
