HEAVY METAL

I never really have thought of sounds outside of music as being calming or stressful, which is half good I guess  though I could use the calming part...

Electric razors

Heh, 1 of the greatest feelings in the world is a small electric razor being dragged soflty down your neck. Absolutly no way can you do it to yourself tho... someone else has to

I sleep with the fan, even during winter

I love nature sounds, and camp, sleep well in them

The hum of matchinery.

Not sure this sound calms him but when we go bowling my son always says he loves the sound of the ball knocking the pins down. He says it makes him happy.

Cicadas or crickets, especially when there's a lot of them.

Cats' purring.

The rustling of trees in the wind.

Lapping or splashing water. The sound of a waterfall or large stream may be quite soothing too, if I hear it for a long enough time while gazing at the water itself.

Rain, and its tapping on the leaves of trees or on metal gutters/roofs etc.

Birds singing in the forest or my budgie chirping.

Music I like.

Someone's soft wordless humming.

Rain
Soft music. When the satellite music channel cuts off at 3:00 AM, it's time to wake up.
Ocean waves.
