I'm in awe of anyone who can take in auditory information. With me, it literally goes in one ear and out the other, as they say.
If people give me spoken directions, I can't process them. I have subtitles on the TV for every programme because I can't process the spoken words quickly enough or hear them, sometimes.
My world revolves around visual things, that's how I understand and learn. Written language and information is great, spoken language and information goes over my head.
It's amazing how different people are.
