My parents say that when I was a baby, I used to be very weepy, also it was stated in my psychological assessments for ADHD and ASD (I don't know why). My parents also say that when I was born, I didn't cry but I held the instrument tray in the operating room and dropped all the instruments.

In comparison with my younger brother (ADHDer, but not autistic), they say I used to cry more and to do more tantrums (or maybe meltdowns).

I didn't have a speech delay. According to my mom, I said my first word before my first year, and I learned to read at 4 years. Currently, the only speech problems I have is monotone and robotic voice prosody.

My mom was telling me I had colic issues at one point, and apparently I screamed a lot during that time. Beyond that though, I was pretty silent as a baby.

I cried but not as much as my twin who was named "Nikki the Noise".

A strange thing though, was that I had a newborn cry long after I should have switched to the regular baby cry.

I was frequently told I was "a quiet little thing" but not sure how I was as an infant, since my memories are fewer from that time. I have a couple memories of crying from early infancy, but I remember vividly crying as a small child and being spanked until I stopped. I learned my needs and opinions were to be kept to myself before I could speak. I learned to always be quiet. Then folks wondered why I was not speaking up at school. Once I got encouragement to speak, they pretty much could not stop that broken dam. I became talkative over everything. I very rarely cried, still very rarely ever cry. That part of the early "training" stuck.
