My ex complained about a painful dental procedure and the dentist mocked him "You're crying like a little girl!"

The other problem is many medical places and hospitals have huge glass windows.
Walls and walls of windows and skylights and "natural sunlight!" which they think everyone loves.
I can't go in those places.
Oh no, my identical twin and I have a difference! LOL! I LOVE natural light and it is really good for me. And I love places with huge picture windows. But I completely understand how that would overwhelm you. The hospital with the stupid doctor actually has massive windows lining the hallways which I love but they have a shade that can be brought down to cover them at the push of button. I think that is a good compromise because if someone like you were to go there, you could request the shades and as long as that stupid doctor is not in charge, they would probably lower them for you in the area that you would be in. And people like me would be more than happy for you to be accommodated by that. The shades are a light color so they really cut the sunlight drastically, but they do not darken the room. The only thing is you can't see through them so you can't see the beautiful scenery outside, but I know that I would not mind that if it helped you.

If the dentist were a man, I might have knee'd him hard in the nether region and said the same thing back to him. "Right back atcha'"

I like them if it's a dark and stormy day, with rain on the windows or trees bending.
If it's sunshine and blue skies or even overcast haze, I want to die.
The problem is they have the huge windows but STILL keep all the bright lights on too.
You'd swear they think everyone is blind or something?

I know those shades but lots of the huge windows in corridors don't have anything.
The ones with the shades are always open and patients don't get access to the controllers.

It's ridiculous to have sunlight and bright lights. That just makes no sense at all and it's such a waste of electricity. I can understand why they would not give patients access to the controls for the shades because that could become quite a problem. But any patient with a need should be able to request that the shades be dropped and they should honor that.
