How ignorant are you of normal topics?

I make a point of staying enough in touch with pop culture to be able to have something to talk to NT's about (otherwise I wouldn't have a clue).

I am also interested in "studying" it for the reason that it helps me to understand how NT people think. (I 'm often totally mystified though - I mean what's so great about going out & getting paralytically drunk every night? And who cares what brand of jeans or trainers you are wearing?)

But I do enjoy watching soaps & other dramas on TV though - it's like they enable me to live my life vicariously, and also provide inspiration for my writing.

In a pub quiz I would probably get full marks on TV questions, some marks on pop music & celebs, but zero on sport!

Politics: Don't care.

Religion: I'm an Atheist.

Street stuff: s**t.

The way the system works: Don't care.

Intellectual stuff: ?

Sex: I'm 15...

Art: Not really interested.

Current events: Don't care.

Pop culture: s**t.

History: A subject at school, that I took.

i basically only go to three or four areas of this board, general autism discussion, the random discussion, the music/arts area and political discussion.

how well i do in these forums i dont know.

Like many of us, I could care less about most politics or pop culture. It's vapid and pointless.
