I tend to separate foods and try to eat meals in order of least favourite part to favourite part, to try and have the taste of my favourite part last longer. Although with something like a sandwich the bread tastes too dry on its own, so I'll want to eat with the filling still in, though I'll often pick out a small amount of the filling, assuming it's not too messy, and save that for last. I hope this sort of makes sense.

My family loses their mind when I open up my breakfast tacos to take out the "extra" beans or rice or whatever. But I need that good ratio or tortilla to filling.

It's funny how with Oreo cookies you're practically encouraged to take them apart and eat the middle first, but with any other food it's just weird.
Those Viva Puff cookies you mention are called Wagon Wheels here in Australia if I have my cookies right. And I eat them the same way you do. :D

Actually, Viva Puffs are small and more cookie sized. We have wagon wheels too. I used to take them in my lunch to school sometimes as a kid. But now they make them too small. They deny that Wagon Wheels are much smaller now, but I can tell they're lying. Whoever "they" are.

I am a somewhat rigid person who believes that food should be eaten the way it is prescribed. it's not polite to operate on burgers and sandwiches.Obviously, I'm not going to create
the first pineapple pizza.

I take the pickles out of burgers but I eat them straight away. I don't leave them in the burger or they squish and put pickle juice all over everything else. Pickle juice in burgers tastes like fish to me. Yuck.

I call Viva Puffs "Herberts". ^^ I can't remember why.

I'll add fresh pineapple from home instead of paying for theirs.
Same with hot peppers.

I used to have to pick pickles off (wouldn't eat them) but now I don't mind how they taste, I just don't like the texture of them very much.

I add peppers, but I find pineapple (and fresh tomato) overwhelmingly sweet on pizza.

The worst was in Wendy's.
Their pickles were always the fishiest, if left in the burger.

I agree, it is sweet and I don't love sweet, but I put so much spice it makes a good contrast.
My pizza is so spicy most people wouldn't be able to eat it.
I've been known to add about 1/3 cup of hot pepper flakes and ghost peppers.

PS.
I'm curious. What was wrong with Harvey's?

Now that I think of it, I don't think I've ever gotten pickles on a burger anywhere but McDonalds. I'm tempted to test what aspects of pickles I dislike from other places.

I either order them without pickles or pick them off consistently everywhere else.

My son gets Big Macs without pickles but then they make us park in that stupid waiting area.
I hate that, so I'd rather just eat them on their own.
