hard or soft?

I have 4-6 pillows to lay my head and a duvet underneath my matress. I usually have more pillows in the winter and less in the summer and I have a duvet under my mattress because I don't like a hard mattress.

i prefer hard beds. my matress is able to support a glass of water next to me without spilling and my pillows actually are folded up fleece blankets underneath a normal pillow, to give it more of a base.

in hospital, i slept for almost two weeks in a bed that was so horribly soft that it messed up my lower back big time. it hurt like hell...

Speaking of mattresses ...

Did you know it is believed that Hans Christian Anderson had Asperger's. He wrote 'The Princess and the Pea' - the story where they know the girl is a true princess because he feels the pea at the bottom of 15 mattresses.

Obviously the true princess had Asperger's - she had sensory issues!

I sleep on an inflatable mattress now with 3 doubled over duvets on top. I cannot afford a good enough quality orthopaedic mattress to suit me. I cannot bear things that sink under my weight and I always found with normal mattresses that the springs dug in.

I CAN'T sleep without my sleeping bag.
A sleeping bag combined with a really soft matress gives me the best sleep.

I have a queensize waterbed frame with an airbed in it covered with a foam waffle pad, and flannel sheets, lots of comforters, and foam pillows. Added accessories are about a half dozen cats. These are my gravity cops; they prevent me from floating away during the night by weighting down the covers.

I like my mattress soft and my cock hard.

Hard. The worst bed I ever slept in was at the Westin O'Hare hotel. That thing was too soft to sleep on and I was exhausted. I was tempted to sleep on the floor though I didn't because of the layer of dirt on things like the video game controller - i figured they probably didn't clean the floor often. I definately missed my middle class hotel bed that night

That sounds nice except how do you ever get to sleep with your soldier standing at attention, so to speak?

Good point. You have to make sure you're sleeping on your back or have a hole cut out in your mattress.

I prefer a mild bed. I don't like one too hard, and I hate it when they are too soft, especially my pillow, because my head just sinks into it.. (no, my head isn't that heavy! lol)

Tempur pedic is the only way for me. After 2 weeks with this bed I swore I would never sleep on anything else. The are expensive but the last for 20 years. Full warranty for 10, prorated from 11-20.
