I drink either water or iced tea (weak strength) most of the day. At breakfast, I alternate between a glass of regular V8 juice and the low sodium version each day. Occasionally I will substitute the regular V8 with orange or grape juice. Once a week I can have a soda pop, but I often just avoid having one altogether.

No alcohol, coffee or Red Bull for me. I am allergic to alcohol and do not need the caffeine boost from the other two. Caffeine causes my heart to beat too fast with my congestive heart disease issues. That will cause it to age faster over time. You only have so many heart beats that your heart can do before it wears out.

Coffee is the sunrise of my morning - caffeine, warmth and happiness.
Green tea just makes me feel balanced and I love the flavor
I do drink alcohol - usually red wine.

I'm not one for soda or energy drinks.

When I was younger and I realised alcohol allowed me to socialise I would drink whisky or bourbon mixed with red bull. About half a can per drink so it wasn't uncommon to drink 4 cans in an evening. I can't imagine doing that now. It must have done some damage.

That always worries me. My heart beats unusually fast.

Careful on the self medication, with these products , from the above, Whereas he was much more social after drinking ,
Me too.
but often I think it maybe likely that Aspies are prone to Anxiety, especially socially . And relieving that anxiety someway, does wonders , but underlying the Anxiety is some abnormally (high Cortisol levels) .A by product of stress.
Somewhere I read that "Potentially" cortisol levels in the blood have been linked to a high Mortality rate .
