Conversations With Aspies vs NTs

I used to be in a room full of aspies when I was at school.

I also recently met an aspie. Maybe we met the same one.

Lau and I had a wonderful conversation that went into the wee hours of the morning last night. So refreshing to find what we have in common and I think we have only scratched the surface. The meanderings of the conversation, getting involved with some detail that would mean nothing to anybody else. I can't say we have more then one conversation (subject) going at once, mainly because we were using voice. I suspect we would have, had it been typed, I tend to do that and my few gamer friends keep up with it very well, but they aren't real normal anyway. On the other hand another that I speak with here at WP, she has a direction with the conversation and heaven forbid we stray. It's just the difference in the style, I have a wonderful time with both, because of shared interests and interests still to be discovered.

For those that don't know about it, Skype, free, no malware. You can have a conference call (we had one with 4 aspies and an NT [so she thinks], now that was serious confusion, lol) with no buttons to push with voice. The sound quality is so damn good, if some one doesn't speak, you think the connection dropped. Linux and Windows, Linux is pretty plain but Windows you can really do some far out things with. (I suspect Linux could as well, with plugins) Video cameras work flawlessly, well mine does, but that just scares people to really see me.

Hi!My name is Katherine Pamela Taveras. I live In El Paso Texas, and i take private classes in see school. I use to attend a Bording school In Connecticut East Hadam, Known as the worst place in the entire universe. However, the only good thing about that place was that i meet the nicest boy in the whole world, Nicolas. I went out with A lot of diffrent Boys. In the end i ended Up with Him .Nico You were a really good friend of mine . I miss you and i love U to death. We use to L down in the grass and Look at the stars, we ran around in the cold rain, we played with the snow . We were always together and never apart. I found out that he was leaving the school for good and that was the last time . I would ever get to see Him . So we hung out like always. Then, we started fighting a lot . I didn't know why?! ! I Mean this was the boy who always said he loved me and followed me around and lol gave me a bunch of flowers. He even once gave me two boxes of chocolate. So He broke Up with me. (I don't know why but thats what u did). And the last time i ever saw him, Me Him and his brother ali, my mom, and his Mom went to dinner . And had a really good time . We were all being really silly!we were in my car and he kissed me . Said dont worry we will see each other again.! ! and he kissed mom on the cheek and we said our goodbyes. I wish to because a fashion designer when i grow uP. I never wish to marry either but, i do wish to Live in italy and countinue my dreams. I would also like to become a children's writter and inspire small kids with big dreams. I have a ton of friends but i barely get to see them since i am taking those classes . For christmass i wish to visit my friend Nico. I am also adhd . I found His form and i am hoping on learning about people Like you. I am very friendly . If anyone needs to talk please don't be shy to ask.

I got my first aspie to aspie convo last week. It was so, natural. I kept thinking, this is how talking should go. We were both used to NT so we did still do the whole, trying to avoid interuption thing. But then basically just forgot that and talked. Things streamed, never needed to worry about what I say. Plus we could relate our aspie experiences.

Best part, didn't care about eye contact. My eyes wandered, and I looked over papers and stuff. In many ways multi-tasking during the conversation. But no second throught was given. he never thought I was distracted or disinterested, nor did I think the same with him.

Compared to talking to a NT, I definately preffer aspie

I have been in groups of "geeks" before where conversation flowed similarly.
It's bliss, isn't it? Generally, everyone else is just as excited about it as you are, too.
I think you should try to attend some sci-fi/comic conventions, even if you're not totally into that scene. They are a magnet for Aspies, and it's often a joy just to be there among them.
