I think age 10, when I got a paper round for a small advert paper. The chap dropped them off, I rolled them up with a ribber band, and dutifully delivered them. After that, age 16, doing the dishes at a short order type restaurant.

I was 16 when I got my first job, but volenteered for 3 years b4 that at a summer camp (summer job, obviously) and at age 16 I instructed conoeing.

I was doing yard for my neighbors when I was 12-17years old, my first full time "on the books" job was when I was 19.

14. worked for a guy who was simultaneously working on voice recognition hardware, and trying to build a robotic butler. I soldered ICs onto custom made circut boards.

As a book-keeper, a few weeks before my 21st Birthday. 3 years later and I'm still there, by miracle perhaps :P
