I laughed a little when I saw the title of this thread. It reminded me how in the escort industry, "get comfortable" means "take off your clothes". But on a serious note, I don't have a lot of issues with certain clothes feeling uncomfortable. My only major thing is that I can't handle wearing sandals; I absolutely HATE the way those straps feel on my feet. (And according to NTs, we're not supposed to wear sandals with socks.) Also, when I wear a dress shirt, I need to have an undershirt with it; otherwise it feels really uncomfortable. Other than that, I'm OK with most clothes.

Pch. I wear Crocks with socks. It's comfy, cool and protects my feet from the scratchy nasties. It also looks kinda cool when I wear constrasting colors....black crocks - yellow socks....red crocks, orange socks - very nice indeed.

Only things I can wear that are tight are soft jumpers with no labels, leggings and soft jogging pants...and tights/pantyhose as long as I can get that nasty seam on the toe in the right place or it will irritate me all day.

Jeans have to be stretchy and have some space in them.
I hate knickers, but alas...
I hate bras and bra tops, but Id rather that than have bits sticking out of my jumpers

Currently, a general outfit is black, soft cotton crop trousers/pants with tights/pantyhose underneath and a soft jumper on top.

I find skirts irritating at the moment, but sometimes I like to have a break from having my legs locked in material.

Cotton irritates me. It reminds me of what a damp towell feels like - heavy and cold. It zaps the warmth right out of my body. In warm weather, it gives me a rash. I prefer coolmax, polartec, and other polyester fabrics. Merino wool is nice too. I like form-fitting sizes.

Even if something is poly-cotton....it will drive me completely crazy.
I feel those synthetic fibers...all poking me at once.
I prefer wool sweaters to acrylic...

but the reason I returned to this thread was to talk about bras.

i HATE underwires....they drive me insane.....they transmit evil messages from outer space (just kidding)

I have to have lightly padded cotton bras that are dark in color and they have to be really wide...i am kinda rolly polly (but not huge)...I found cotton bra in the very unusual size of 44 B (big rib cage small cup) and I am never ever going back to those horrible 38's again.
I read somewhere that most women wear their bras too tight.

I always wear a tight cotton undershirt, even under short sleaved or button-down shirts. I don't like how most outer layers feel on my back. Of course when it's warm there becomes a point where the heat is more intolerable than the feeling of the shirt on my skin. Then I can't wear the undershirt.

I can't stand clothing either, and as soon as I hit the door to my home, they come off! I only wear clothing because it is illegal not to. I am extremely picky about the clothing I do wear because I have found it so uncomfortable. What I find strange is the way people will totally sacrifice comfort for appearance when it comes to clothes. This is especially true of women, who frequently wear totally absurd clothing that is not only uncomfortable for them, but unhealthy and dangerous too, like high heels.

For me, there are several articles of clothing that are off-limits. Polyester slacks, turtlenecks, and anything loose enough to slide against my skin. I am also picky about my shoes, and purchasing shoes for me takes considerable time and effort. Out of all the varieties of men's underwear available today, I have yet to find any that are particularly comfortable, so I usually end up not wearing any at all.

The first thing I do when I come home is strip and throw on pajamas. My favorite feeling in the world is a pair of knee length pajama pants, low and loose-fitting, a slightly long and loose tank top, a stretchy beat up hoodie that is all cotton and super soft, and a big cuddly pair of socks.

Best. Feeling. Ever.

I typically wear stretch pants and long sweaters to be most comfortable and look somewhat put together. I prefer track pants and sweatshirts. In the summer I'll wear almost anything and be comfortable, I love summer clothes.

My son hates clothing, except shorts and t-shirts. We come home, he strips to his diaper

What clothing is comfortable has to do with what I'm used to. When I was a little kid I remember having a lot of trouble transitioning between summer and winter clothes. In the fall jeans and long sleeve shirts felt stiff and constricting. In the spring shorts and t-shirts felt uncomfortably "airy".

I can't stand having little or no clothes on. It makes me feel... well, naked, obviously. I'm comfortable with my body, I just don't think anyone has a right to see it.

I like 100% cotton the most, a cotton/nylon mix is generally tolerable enough though. Wool is kind of itchy for me, and lace irritates my skin so much that I refuse to go near it. I prefer modest clothes that are a comfortable middleground, can't stand anything that clings to my skin or constricts my body movement too much, neither do I like anything excessively baggy. Ironically, I used to wear jeans all the time until they too became too intolerable to wear. Hate it when trousers ride up in the crotch! :x

i too would like to complain about bras for a bit. i'm uncomfortable wearing most of mine; don't know, they just annoy me. maybe they're too small [34a], or maybe it's due to the fact that i wear lightly padded bras with...underwire...>____<. i nap a lot, too, and sleeping in bras never feels good.
i do not like normal-width women's shoes very well, and it's seemingly impossible to find "femmy" shoes that are wider without being big and bulky.
i can't STAND wool, and a lot of synthetic fabrics bother me in the neck/shoulder region.

i love fleecey stuff, though. also, i'd say 90% of my wardrobe consists of babydoll t-shirts and jeans...semi-tight things work best for meeh.

I can only wear certain bras, as most tend to be uncomfortable. I have to cut the tags out of my clothing, as they'll cause me to itch like crazy the whole day, including in any bras. I prefer pants to skirts, unless one is long enough to where I can wear bike shorts under them because I don't like the feeling of bare legs. One other reason I love pants is that I don't have to wear nylons, which I HATE.

I don't like most synthetics, and the only natural fabric I can't wear is 100% wool because it causes too much itching. In the winter, I especially love fleece or cashmere because they're soft and I stay warm.

I am very fussy about clothes, I wear the same outfit repeatedly and I need very soft clothing. I make exceptions for special occasions but loathe itchy nylon.

Underwires are torture devices. Pretty much. Why on earth did anyone make them? There are 1,000 other elements they could've used that would've been so much more comfortable, less irritating and jabbing.

All my clothes are colors that bring me peace btw - no WRITING on anything. WTH is up with that trend. Are human beings walking bulletin signs? No writing - and if I ever see any writing on anything - I will pull out a sharpie in the right color and *disinfect* the perp.

Clothes are little havens for peace when the entire world is going insane.
