That's kind of a vague question, because history is a very broad subject. Are you talking about history in general or a specific subject in history. Because I'm pretty certain that most anybody is interested in history of some form or another.

BTW, my favorite historical subject is the 20th century.

I didn't like history at school. But I do like to learn about the histories of various things I'm interested in. Sometimes it can be quite random like the history of Western Sahara or the history of Druze. History is important, it is only natural to want to know how something came about, how we reached where are today. I have quite a lateral mind so like to hop between subjects and their histories.

Kings + Queens + dates Zzzzzz...

I'm more interested how things develop on the ground and the history of ‘things’ and technology. I’m also very interested in natural history.

Loved history and indeed I've got a first class honours degree in it from uni.

Still pick the occasional history book and devour it cover to cover.

I'm definitely into history and all people-related disciplines, ranging from literature to medical subjects.

In school I hated the subject. The way it was taught was dis-jointed, and it memorize this date, and this number of whatevers.

As I age, I am more and more fascinated with the subject.

As Orwell said, if someone can take history away from you, that person can control you ....

I've found that I've been obsessed with history, since I was thirteen.
