I wish it would say how the scoring works. I mean, what is relative to what. Which PDD typically scores in this range or that range... etc.
The explaination at http://www.childbrain.com/pddassess2.html#scoring did list what are likely ranges for mild, moderate and severe PDDs, and included a caveat that a score over 60 without a verbal delay suggested Asperger's Syndrome. There wouldn't be much point in differentiating between HFA, LFA and AS simply on scores as they admit the question weighting and final scores have not been verified through statistical analysis of test subjects, and there is a lot of dispute over the actual differences (other than early speech delays and IQ level) between the three ASD variants.

The first time I took it I scored around 180, that was over a year ago. This time I scored a 179. Both times it said Severe PDD.

I got 104. I don't remember enough of my childhood, so I took it as I am now. I know I've improved a lot since my childhood, I can have a decent conversation (etc.) with more different people.

89. Mild PDD. It's more for kids so some of the things don't apply any longer, and I think I may be underestimating what is a "mild" and a "moderate" difficulty.

I don't think PDD describes me, unless they are including asperger's as a subset.
I also was a little annoyed to score as high as I did - 137.
Perhaps I am just a little bit reactive today....

HFA: High-Functioning Autistic Disorder (or called High-Functioning Autism)

LFA: Low-Functioning Autistic Disorder (or Low-Functioning Autism)

AS: Asperger's Syndrome

But some Aspies also use High-Functioning Autistic to describe themselves as well. HFA is both used for Autistic Disorder (Kanner's Autism) in its higher-functioning ranges and also just as a descriptor of functioning for anyone on the upper end of the Autistic Spectrum. It can get confusing.

142 - Moderate PDD

Yeah, I went by how I am now. There were a few cases where I answered "resolved" for things I used to do.

I think the test just uses PDD for ASD.
