Health and medical topics. I annoy the crap out of people with it, but I just can't shut up. I have a vast expanse of knowledge on such things that most pay persons do not, from years of reading medical, drug and health books cover to cover for something to do.

I'll talk about pretty much anything anyone wants, though I try to avoid topics I have very strong opinions on (religion, politics, abortion, smoking, etc.).

Hey you were pretty close, its actually spelled Teal'c :) I love the Goa'uld names and language, and how they base everything on Egyptian mythology, its so cool! Whats even more interesting is how they thrive, with a host implanted in their bodies that controls them 8) I think I would love being a Jaffa, I could heal from just about any injury or disease in a matter of moments. Also the Goa'ulds technology is far more advanced and useful than Earths, so I would definetly want to be part of an empire like that. The only downside is that I would have to lose my free will, which would suck :/ Also my host would hate me because Im an aspie
How old are you now? Not that I discriminate people for being older or anything  Because really, I dont.

They don't base it on egyptian mythology. They base it on religion! The goa'ulds represent mostly egyptian. The asgard(sp?) represent mostly norse. The origin(sp?) represent the evil of judeo/Christian(although one Goauld did also, as I recall), the ancients(I forget the other name for them, but they are the ascended ones) represent basically the good of the judeo/Christian, and one of them was merlin.

BTW They have NO real technology. They come from a backward planet where they are considered VERMIN(Like giant leeches). They can tie into the hosts brain, live a long time in the host, and have race memories, so they acquired the technology. And they would LOVE aspies! A lot of memory to acquire, and few emotions to work through. I guess you wouldn't have meltdowns either.

OK, I guess I might as well say. I am almost 45. Why do you ask?

Gah! I think you totally misunderstood me lol. Thats what I meant, the Goa'uld represents mostly Egyptian. And yes, they aquired technology, so they have really advanced technology like I said :P Who said aspies werent emotional? Personally I think I can be too sensitive and emotional about certain things.. There are plenty of others who are like that too around here as well. I was just wondering because you mentioned something about being in your fourties, and I was kind of surprised because I just didnt expect it for some reason. Its not a bad thing though, which is what I meant about not being discriminating

OH, when you said "they base", I thought about SG1. 8-( I guess I was distracted. 8-(

Well, there ARE different kinds of emotions. Yeah, even vulcans can be emotional. 8-( Still, there are certain things NTs REALLY care about that many aspies don't. I guess that is part of the social problem. But, agreed, even I can be too emotional at times.

Why did you expect I would be in any other age group?

Well, it is depressing that most people my age have kids in their teens to early twenties, but OH WELL. There's one of those emotions you spoke of. THANKS for the compliment though!
I even spoke today wih a person about how perhaps everyone in my neighborhood has a family. I don't. I wonder what people say behind my backs sometimes.

Oh well, another person told me "You only have one life". I replied by saying "Yeah, but I just didn't get a manual on how to live it.". She had a good laugh, at that. 8-(

Awe, dont feel too bad, Im probably going to end up in the same situation, plus its not like all hope is gone for you. Everyone has a potential chance, I think.

Wow Soccer Freak, You seem to have a LOT of zeal about that. It is like I can FEEL it coming from the screen! YIKES!

username88, Thanks. At this point, I don't even know if I want to take the chance. I guess I never REALLY looked. It is easy to miss what you aren't looking for. But I guess I will now just consider it if approached in some manner. Someone said something a couple years ago that implied she was interested. I took what she said too literally and blew it. It's a pity. She was cute. I think I might have finally gotten it through my thick skull that nonsense statements from strange women have to be examined in such light. Maybe the NEXT time I will notice it.

I've been talking about cars and street racing for the last 8 years or so.

I can talk about Animaniacs and Meteorology for DAYS if someone didn't stop me every time.

If someone angers or upsets me in a way I think is unfair (i.e they stereotype me), I can talk about that for days, too and have.

Cities/urban design: I'm very much for New Urbanism and very against suburban sprawl. I can get into heated discussions about current development/zoning in American cities and all associated problems for hours, days... however long someone wants to talk (or debate) about it.

I typically can talk about The Universe, Desert Storm, WW2, weapons (or weapons systems) nowdays. Years ago I had other interests, those faded a bit, and nowdays I dont have much time to persue these interests, I work alot and try to remain active in a few social circles whenever possible.

Sucks for us cause we are so knowledgeble about specific topics, yet all everyone seems to want to talk about (at least my buddys at work) are sports, hunting and what they did all weekend.
