I thought it was funny when you said that change is ok. You handle it with lots of planning. Therefore, change is not really okay. You have to plan ahead for it.

Sound like one of us. Welcome to the club.

You're probably right. I tend to be that way about my symptoms. If they don't seem that strong, or I'm managing them well, then I wonder if they even count. However, I often underestimate them.

For example, I didn't think I had the "special interests" trait at first. Then I saw a list of common aspie interests that was something like: mathematics, computers, weather, foreign languages, geography, science fiction, calendars, and some others. That read just like the list of my favorite interests! Meanwhile, I don't care for football, shopping, alcohol, parties, TV, relationships, pop culture--you know, the stuff normal people tend to be obsessed with.

Aspies tend to HATE football, shopping, alcohol, parties, TV, relationships(To the degree of others), pop culture!

WHO KNOWS! My mother said in highschool they called me the professor! I don't remember that, but I DO remember that they treated me like I was smart, asked me what my IQ was, and didn't think I was lying when I told them. She ALSO spoke of how the biology teacher said he was fond of me, and that I spoke a lot about Tesla! I never thought I spoke much about tesla, but I certainly could. She also thought I was really into agriculture. Who knows? I HAVE been VERY interested in Electronics, Computers, Foreign Languages, Science Fiction and Nutrition.
