What just about everyone on the spectrum at some point gets called by some A-hole NT......"ret*d".

Funny you should mention that, because in northern New England, the word 'ret*d' is probably one of the most common epithets used.

Bread made without yeast. It doesn't rise.

Or, "bread made without any ingredients" according to Anguished English. ((I love that book))

1. Thou shalt stim

--No beefs there. I stim, therefore I am.

2. Thou shalt use excessively formal and verbose language to speak thy mind

--Do I do that??? :innocent face:

3. Thou shalt focus narrowly on an obscure subject

--Got that one covered as well.

4. Thou shalt speak only in a monotone, even when excited

--Unfortunately, check. Although when I am more comfortable and get excited my voice gets outta hand (and sometimes too loud when I'm trying to be funny).

5. Thou shalt make many "faux pas" on a first date

--Date? What is this?

6. Thou shalt wear shorts in November because it feels comfortable

--Nope, I wear pants ALL YEAR ROUND.

7. Thou shalt only eat unleavened bread

--Hmm... I have other food quirks but this is not one of them.

8. Thou shalt be oblivious to all celebrity gossip

--Yea verily, and turneth thine stomach when Entertainment Tonight cometh on.

9. Thou shalt lack all tact and subtlety in delicate situations

--Depends. I am sometimes tactful. But this is somewhat inconsistent.

10. Thou shalt always be misunderstood—and not as an angsty teenager is

--Check, check, check.

What about #11: "Thou shalt collect at that pleases thine eye until thou hast the entire collection"?

I dont speak in a monotomous tone, i extract tones, quotes, and mannerisms from people i've seen. And if i am behaving in a particular mannerism, i could probably tell you who i got it from. I change up the tone of my voice, by switching to the mannerisms of a different person.
