There are four other countries with a substantial nuclear arsenal. More than enough to wipe the usa into oblivion. stop trying to bully everyone. :)

Yes, I do. Mum is Australian. Dad is American. So I'm Australican.

American, well North American to be specific. I think it's great that we have people here from France, Israel, Sweden, UK, Australia, NZ...It is interesting to me the things we have in common, regardless of where we live, whether attributable to AS or not...

I used to do this. Chicago, Illinois, United States of America, North America, earth, Sol System, Orion Spiral Arm, Milky Way Galaxy, Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, Universe

I remember that strange rule from school: even though they are proper nouns, you do not capitalize earth, sun, or moon. I also love the name of our galactic cluster: the Local Group. Astronomers are so imaginative. (Like dark matter, or the VLA telescope in New Mexico. VLA stands for "Very Large Array." That's the actual name of the telescope.)

I am from the UK, South East London, to be exact. If you want to be more exact, you could go to http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... r3=&addr1=

though I surmise that nobody intends to be quite thatprecise.

It could be worse, it could have been called 'localhost', which would give it an IP Address of 127.0.0.1. That would be oddly self-defeating, so at least Local Group sounds a little bit more 'outward bound', if that makes sense.

P.S Apologies about the over-sized URL.

That is not true! Canada belongs to those nasty people in Freedomland (formerly France). America doesn't want their awful Freedom ways.

Sometimes I wonder why Canada doesn't change it's name to 'Wannabe America'?
