I think this kinna goes along with the audio processing problems. I can't remember anything if I don't write it down. I'm known for always having post it notes in my purse, bag, car, desk, etc. I should take out stock.

My son is even worse at it. I remember having to break things down into one step instructions. Go get socks. Go get shoes. Put socks on. Put shoes on. ETC.

We still joke that I can tell him to go get or do something and by the time he gets up the steps, I hear, "Mom? What am I doing?"

Yes. I prefer to have it written down.

Whenever someone starts telling me to do a bunch of things, I just straight out tell them to "Just write it all down or I *WILL* forget some of it".

Do they comply or do they roll their eyes?

I can't remember squat, especially things I'm "told", and I'm not shy about telling people. Too many people have gotten upset with me for not remembering things, and I'm fed up with being yelled at/griped at/bitched at for something I can't fix.

I lucked out - my boss has a terrible memory, so if I say that I need to write things down or I can't remember, he sympathizes, and gives me plenty of time to write out my instructions.
