That's a classic AS trait. My doctor thought I may have OCD too, but my therapist and I discussed it and I learned that there is a difference between the mental illness OCD and AS OCD affect. Ive been taking an SSRI specifically designed for OCD for the past 7-8 years. I wouldn't worry about your son. He's perfectly normal, (AS folks are generally very observant), just be sure to share these obsevations of him with the person/people doing his testing.
