Zach, you sound bitter tonight. Are you angry with someone or a certain situation? Talk to us, tell us what is going on.

Talking dont change things, it just reminds you of the pain.
The Buddhists say that "A sadness shared is a sadness divided and a joy shared is a joy multiplied."
I've found that this saying tends to hold very true.
I don't want to see you get banned over this. If something's wrong, I'd rather see you talk about it than act out and get yourself in trouble.

Zach, I just read a few blog entries on your blog site and I think I understand where you're coming from a bit better now. I can see that you feel a lot of pain as a teenager with Asperger's. You have been treated unfairly at times. I remember when I was your age and I felt a lot of the same things that you do. Like in one blog of yours, you mention how you worry that you'll never fall in love and that you worry if it would even be a good idea, as you're not sure that you could give a woman what she needs emotionally, etc.
I read quite a few of your blog posts and I can tell you that you DO have empathy and you DO have sympathy and you DO have feelings and emotions.... yes enough that you could make a girl happy. Just that fact that you worry that you couldn't give a girl what she wants and needs, says that you are a man with a big heart who is capable of having a wonderful relationship.
You may not see it now, but trust me, love will come to you. Excuse the cliche` but love usually comes to you when you least expect it. And Zach, you need to remember that chances are you will fall in and out of love many times before finding the right person. It is something we all eventually go through. It sucks, but it is so worth it when you finally end up with the love of our life.

Homeland Security Warning, Wiki has been watered down, drowned, so Terraists cannot attack our, Aspurgers. It is for your safety, like the reason we no longer put street names or highway numbers on maps. Loyal Americans will find their way.
I am VERY professional/formal when speaking and especially typing, mainly as a byproduct of working in IT, but I frequently use big words when they are unnecessary.
They all blame IT, how do you think that makes your computer feel? Discombobulated?
My mother told me a few times that my teachers used to get freaked out by the way I would stare at them.
I still do that, Cool!
difficulty falling asleep
This also does NOT describe me, I can fall asleep anywhere and anytime.
Yea, but can you wake up?
Obsessions
This is a big one for me, I have several:
European cars - Specifically, Volkswagens. I even started a club, www.hatcitydubs.com
I have been hearing about a diesel version of the new bug, The Rabbit was OK, but a flat Diesel, with transaxel, low center of gravity, life is getting good! Does that come with Turbo and Supercharger?
How I wish Messerschmitt had stayed with the KR.
Computers - I am in the IT industry, mainly due to my obsession with computers
There are other jobs?
Driving - every corner has to be at maximum efficiency, taking into account traction, apex, vehicle dynamics, etc.
Notice my avatar, the valve covers are called pavement feelers, a light scrape means enough.
So, in your opinions, am I just "eccentric" or am I an aspie??

There are still a few if's before I can pass you,
Do you take into account the amount of fuel on board, passenger dead weight, and adapt your driving to load?
When returning from the grocery store, do you put them on the seat, or on the floor to lower the center of mass?
I am just kidding, the stare put you over the top.

I frankly would rather not see you banned either, Zach, but we can't have you or anybody else going around bulling and insulting members without a diagnosis. Warnings should be interpreted as attempts to help you stay here. We're saying, "Hey Zach, that's the road to banning--turn around." Obviously what you do with that information is your own decision. I'm going to be sending you a PM. Read it.

Do you recall or have the link that you read this at?
If not, it doesn't matter(in my opinion, the test is unscientific and highly subjective, making it a poor tool for evaluation. It is probably the best tool available aside from seeing a genuine psychiatrist or psychologist, even if that's not saying much. I recall the many horror stories here of inept pyschiatrists and other 'doctors'.). I'm just curious to see where this number is mentioned.
From "Autism-Spectrum Quotient Japanese version measures mental health problems other than autistic traits". Albeit, it's not the English version, but I read the same thing, >26 for PDD in an English paper when they were thinking of implementing it as the first screening test. 26 was the cut-off for ASD.
It's just another tool.
Thanks. I just did a quick search based on your response and found this(edit: beware, the link automatically tries to print after clicking it. The text is put in italics below):

Abstract:
A Japanese version of the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ), AQ-J was administered to 25 normally intelligent high-functioning pervasive developmental disorder (HPDD) patients (mean age, 24.2 years; 24 male, one female) and 215 controls (mean age, 30.4 years; 86 male, 129 female) randomly selected from the general population. The AQ-J had satisfactory internal consistency reliability (Cronbach's alpha > 0.70 in the two groups), test–retest reliability, and discriminant validity [i.e. the AQ-J score was significantly higher in the HPDD (mean, 29.6) than controls (mean, 22.2)]. At a cut-off of 26, the AQ-J had satisfactory sensitivity, specificity, and negative predictive value, but it had low positive predictive value (0.24) possibly due to the facts that the 25 mild HPDD patients scored lower and the controls scored higher on the AQ-J than British counterparts on the AQ. The AQ-J-21 (consisting of 21 items significantly associated with HPDD diagnosis) and the AQ-J-10 (consisting of 10 of the 21 items with an effect size >0.17) had higher, although not satisfactory, positive predictive values of 0.35 and 0.46 at cut-offs of 12 and 7, respectively, than the AQ-J. The AQ-J and two short forms are useful not to predict but to rule out mild HPDD, the most difficult part of HPDD to be distinguished from non-PDD conditions, in persons scoring under the cut-offs and to consider professionals’ examination of HPDD in persons scoring over them, because their negative predictive values were satisfactory.
On the English version, I scored a 32. But I was being conserative in an attempt to be unbiased; my highest score on it was a 40. I don't know the differences between the English and Japanese versions. I do notice that the Japanese version has a higher mean score for controls than the English version(16.4 mean for English version), but a lower mean score for HFA/AS than the English version(I recall HFA/AS having a mean of 35 on the English Baron Simon Cohen AQ test with 80% being HFA/AS scoring 32 or higher).
I love comparing numbers.
I'm trying to figure out what 'positive predictive values' means. If that means correlation, I could throw some more numbers out and maybe some confidence intervals(any probability/statistics crazies here would love it).
