I would highly suggest not taking any pharmaceuticals. They are immensely toxic, and they have really bad side effects. I would try hollistic medicines first. I would even try a 12-step program first. I wouldn't take anything on the market, especially anti-depressants/psychotics/anxiety/adhd because most of these drugs aren't tested thoroughly by the FDA and forced hastely into mainstream marketing for your money.

There is no way in hell I would ever, EVER touch any drugs for my aspiedom. Ever.

Big Pharma are out to make money, they are not out to cure or to heal. A customer healed is a customer lost, and we're talking about the biggest industry in the world, who have infiltrated govt to every level and have more power than you can think of. Again, why would they want you healed? A nation of drugged-up zombies who rely on meds and can't think for themselves is far more beneficial for them.

ok, right, everyone of us is different - meds are not for everyone - i don't like that idea of not treating autism chemically because some of us don't react to it... - these are complicated issues

I don't like the idea of 'treating' harmless behaviours with drugs that have a good chance of inducing irreversible damage.

I totally agree with you. People aren't told how dangerous things like SSRIs are. They can cause liver damage, hormonal imbalances that can harm women (possibily even cause cancer), cause other mental disorders, kidney failure, diabetes and extreme weight gain. BTW- I have a friend who was recently hospitalized and nearly died from an interaction between SSRI and diabetes med. She went through kidney failure. They sent the hosp chaplain in to talk to her she was that close to death. Considering so many people have diabetes dishing out SSRI like candy seems like a bad thing to do IMO.

There was a recent article in a Dr. Mercola newsletter how Big Pharma is trying to create a drug for every little goofy quirk a person can have. In short its all a money making gimic to get as many people as possible on longterm drugs in order to make trillions instead of billions for Big Pharma. If I can find the article again I'll post it.

Here's the article from Mercola-

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2007/12/08/how-many-of-these-ridiculous-quot-disorders-quot-do-you-suffer-from.aspx

Here's another interesting article on the 10 Most Insane Medical Treatments...this is good to be aware of because at the time people thought this was sound medical advice. And people still fall for some of the most bizarre treatments the medical community can think up to make more money.

Pharma pisses me off so much... if it does not cause a major physical problem then dont drug it... thats my theory...

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I believe in treating real problems associated with autism. However, I believe psychiatric drugs should NEVER be used to treat autism or any autistic traits. All they do is temporarily cover up symptoms or reduce certain behaviors by zapping the brain of energy. I think they all cause brain damage and none of them address any of the causes of autism symptoms.

And I still do not know what was proposed in the original paper. Someone still after those months are willing to help me ?

Btw. I feel myself as sick, I always felt my autism/asperger as sickness even when I haven't know what to properly call it. The first feeling that I remember was that there is something wrong, that I'm SICK .... and that persisted to this day. And I definitely do not feel happy of who I am, I want to be cured even if the medications that I would take will have some side effect.

The second thing is that it seems I have some ADD on board with asperger's and this is completely another story...
