Right-brained dominant people can multi task

If you are more right-brained, you may tend to:
Be playful in solving problems.
Respond to events with emotion.
Interpret body language easily.
Have a good sense of humour.
Process information subjectively.
Improvise.
Use metaphors & analogies when describing something.
Deal with several problems at once.
Use hands a lot in conversation.
Notice patterns & think in pictures.
See solutions as approximate & evolving.
Not realize all that you know.

If you are more left-brained, you may tend to:
Analyze pros & cons before taking action.
Be neat & tidy.
Base decisions on facts, not on sentimentality.
Give concrete examples when describing something.
Think in terms of right & wrong; good & bad.
Process experiences objectively.
Be keenly aware of time.
Not Pick up social cues easily.
Proceed one step at a time.
Like to categorize.
Be idea-oriented.
Be comfortable with words & numbers.
Seek exact solutions

Introverts lose there place if someone start's talking to them & u have to take more energy to re-find your place

BOY, THERE is a theory that starts wrong, and just keeps rolling! I have known introverts that did WELL, and extroverts that did horribly!

i can do the cooking thing, different elements cooked for right length of time including when need to combine stuff at points , but it needs planning in my head, and practice. Re; multitasking in general it depends on the tasks. Certain kinds of activity i can do at same time, others def NOT! I can draw and talk/listen for instance. I can walk while looking out for road signs/tube map directions etc. But if the tasks are too similar, or relate to Time then i need to concentrate on just one process. For instance try to talk to me while cooking and unless is the purely prep stage of chopping etc i simply won't hear you.

I totally suck at multi-tasking, it's the main reason I have trouble hold a steady job and need help from a job coach. Unfortunately one of my job coaches thinks my not being able to multi-task is "all in my head," even after I experience a meltdown. :x

I am crap at multitasking. when i learned to drive I had to learn in an Automatic car as learning with a manual transmission was so problematic, I had great difficulty parking and doing hill starts when having to worry about clutch and gears...

Even when i learnt to drive in an automatic car it took about one year between getting lessons and sitting the test... lol.

Ive always had problems tasking... i am just not good at keeping my body and mind focussed on a topic, the urge is always to go off and do something mental, like read, or talk, or something not involving my hands.

I work as a data entry operator at the moment and this causes much misery :( . I hate doing stuf with my hands, though I like painting, sculpting, and very simple tasks.

I'm hopeless at multitasking. I always ruin conversations about how great women are at multitasking because I always say that I'm terrible.

I can't cook anything with more than two components and I can't sing and play a piano at the same time. If I'm watching TV, I barely hear anything else around me, and I can't speak on the phone unless I'm in a virtually silent environment.

Can I multitask? Yes.

Do I multitask? Hmm, sometimes. Mostly online though.

If by multitasking, I can write with both hands, yes, I can do that. But we all multitask to some degree. Like listening to music and doing something else. It's one of the easiest multitasking things to do.

Although considering I wasn't ambidexterous to begin with, I suppose you can train yourself to be able to multitask. Afterall, you can train yourself to play the piano as well.

I can't do that. Music makes me lose track of what I'm doing.

I remember when I would listen to music while doing homework, couldn't do it. I can't listen to music and sleep at the same time. Unless it's sleepy music (one CD in my life) for that purpose.
Music is one of my "special interests". Sometimes it distracts me in restaurants when no one else can hear it or it's really quiet.

I'm lucky I can chew gum and walk.

Seriously, multi tasking is not something I do well at all...if someone says something to me while I'm making a phone call I go blank and forget what I'm saying on the phone. The more I try to multi task while doing something that requires a good bit of concentration... the more likely it becomes that I'll either start dropping things or breaking stuff.

Never whistle while you're pissing! You'll just end up pissing on your shoes, and you won't be able to carry a tune.
