I am good at taking criticism.

One word: hypersensitive. I get so confused as to what is constructive and what is not, that I am always on the defensive.

Most of the crtizim I take is because I am an Aspie. Such as not being able to control the volume of my voice, or more, not noticing if I am too quiet or loud. Not being athletic enough, not "Listening" or understanding others, being a Smart ass for taking things literally. Not paying attention to social cues and knowing when to stop speaking and letting the person go, or be a part of the conversation, etc, etc.

I don't take criticizm well much of the time because I think I am being insulted, not someone trying to help me. If they are trying to help, and know that I am not trying to be deficient, I am OK with it.

Best,

Idaho Aspie

I react poorly to it when it's given but when I cool down I generally appreciate it and put it to good use... it's kinda one of those things where I want people to tell me if I'm doing something wrong but I hate it when they do.
