The problem is that nowadays, even the best employees need to be good at office politics in order to get promoted!

Tell me about it, Greentea!

I didn't know about work place politics when I got my first job, and it was those politics that were never properly explained to me (being undiagnosed Aspie at the time).

It was work place politics that cost me my second job - when the morons caused a high up medical officer (called a CMO) to label me unemployable because of Aspergers. I haven't worked since, and when I took the matter to court I lost.

(My first job I left because of the stress I was suffering - I was very close to a nervous breakdown)

I lost all the jobs I lost due to politics and only politics.
