Then there is the problem of taking a joke too far, way beyond the point of just funny, to plain bad.

People tend to laugh at my sarcastic humor but when I try to just be funny I usualy just embarass myself.

I think when I try to be funny it's my tone of voice that kills it. I'm either too serious so people dont realize that I just tried to make a joke, or I'm too obvious that I'm trying to be funny that people think its lame.

I don't get it!

Yeah, I think my sense of humor is off, too...

George Bush thought Brazillian was a number. Like a billion or a bazillion.

:) It's a pretty good joke.

EDIT: And yeah, people don't get my humor or think I'm sarcastic too.

People never get my humor. I have no inflection, so people think when I kid around that I'm being completely mean.

People often misinterpret my sarcasm as me being serious. I often offend people with it and have learn't to shut up [most of the time, anyway].

As far as general jokes go, I don't even understand most of them. I don't tell them often.

Here's a comedian I used to really love. He made a career of taking things literally, having no facial expression and his delivery has almost no inflection.
