Mocking? Never.

Though I can't say I take the concept very seriously...

Actually, the "Breatharian's" were proven to be a fraud, when their "leader" was caught eating some Big Mac's. After proudly proclaiming that he hadn't eaten in decades.

Still it would be wonderful if that could be done!! ! When I was younger, I would often skip meals, when involved in a project. Often to the point of hypoglycemia!! ! When your six feet tall and 115 pounds soaking wet, there is not much in reserve! :P

I do love food, it's just not the priority love.

Peace

Breathing in food? Sounds good, but not for me.

And Burger King is okay, if you like onion rings. However, thats the ONLY thing from there I can eat.

I don't think food is an AS obsession. Most people are obsessed with food!

I prefer Burger King to McDonalds. But then again, I adore Rally's (I think that's somewhat local) and especially their fries.

But I rarely do fast food. The closest to fast food I tend to get is Blimpies. (For those unfamiliar with Blimpies, it is like Subway only keweler and yummier-- and a leetle more expensive. :D )

Me? I love to eat lots of good food. Perhaps a little less love would be better for me somedays. . . . .

While I love to make the food, I hate the clean up and doing dishes. That last part automatically excludes a lot of foods right there (soups, casseroles, stuff that requires a good deal of preparation).

I mostly do grilling (hamburgers, samon, london broils) and boiling (pasta/frozen veggies) for myself and sometimes for the family. I am known to make a mean improvised ramen noodle soup with peppercorns, corn, waterchestnuts and maybe some mushrooms. I use a lot more water then than what is reconmended, so if one wants it to taste salty, then add a cube (boulion) or two.

I just finished grilling samon and cooking fried rice, as well as frozen brocilli. It was good and I liked it, but I dread cleaning up all that stuff. Without fail, I always forget something and my parents let me know about it in the morning. . . . . ugh.

I am currently obsessed with the food my neighbors are making in the apartment below me. I am hungry and they are teasing me with such delicious smells... :(

Ick, my food habits are probably my worst vice. I'm the pickiest eater you'll ever meet. I dislike kitchens, especially other people's, because I never know where anything is. I hate the time that you need to put into preparing food, when I'm hungry I'd rather just eat some bread or cheese while doing something else. That's only in the preparation stage of things, when I actually sit down to eat, I don't like eating green, and hate when certain foods touch each other, in most cases if food touches another food, I'll just eat around the "infected" area.

>_< I'm going to need someone to cook for me for the rest of my life, I honestly can never see myself making food for myself and other people.

I'm fanatical about food and weight. I have a hate-love relationship with food; I love to eat but I hate what food does to me. I do wish i could quite food altogether because total abstinence would be easier than controlled eating, I think, but unfortunately that woudl result in my health deteriorating and my death, eventually, were medical intervention not provided. I flirted with half-assed bulimia for awhile but that didn't help at all so now I restrict, restrict, restrict and excercise; I also am constantly thinking about what I have eaten and what I will eat but it's not pleasant, it's stressful.

So yeah, it's an obsession, but not a fun one. :(

I am obsessed with food, though I doubt it has anything to do with AS (which I may or may not have). I love to eat, but since I need to lose about 20 lbs should not be eating so much. Unfortunately, the more I want to lose weight, the more obsessed I get with food, particularly junk food. I am not a very picky eater, but I am picky with meats. Fat on my meat makes me want to gag, and I seem to have more problem with chicken since the fat can hide. I have not been able to stomach chicken nuggets for years because I bit into some gristle one time. I am also a little paranoid about chewy things like steamed clams (though I adore fried clams strips even though they are also chewy). I also prefer small shrimp to the big ones due to them being less chewy. I have never been picky about vegetables. My mom used to think I was weird because I was so good about eating them (while my younger brother had to be forced to eat anything other than corn or green beans). The only vegetable I will not eat is Sweet Potatoes, which is something neither me or my brother would eat even as babies. What I find funny is my one-year-old neice loves the sweet potato baby food.

Sweet potatoes offend me. They're potato posers. Like, "Yeah, I am sooo a potato." But they aren't. They're sweet and they're wrong and evil and I hate them.

I also always hated fat on meat even before I stopped eating meat altogether.
