Daughter - when wife went into labor, she didn't even know that's what it was (her leg was hurting). She was admitted to the hospital so that when the radiology tech came in in the morning, they could check for a deep-vein thrombosis. About 2am, her water broke. About 1am the next morning, daughter was born - delivery was easy. (Wife held out that long because she was starting to feel the urge to push around midnight, but "Law & Order" was on.) :)

Daughter is autistic.

Son - long labor, got stuck in birth canal, had to have emergency C-section to get him out.

Son is NT.

So, based on these data - no, I don't think labor has anything whatsoever to do with autism. :)

Aspie here and I was an easy Cesarian baby.

Me, too. Although, my mothers cesarian was an emergency one as I was going into distress [apparently]. I was also breach.
Also, I was exactly 27 days premature...VERY tiny baby at 2.9 lbs. I guess from birth...I have been a "problem child"

My labor with my son was induced, but it was only 3 hours with 25 minutes of pushing. So no long labor here.
