Frankly, I tend to see my social problems as extreme (as the lower 3rd percentile in social skills or lower) whereas other people's social problems are transient, situational, or isolated idiosyncrasy. Thus I see myself as always having to compensate for the gulf between my social skills and the expectations of others when interacting with them.
