I used to jump into bed. Then one day, I broke my bed doing that. So I didn't jump into bed anymore. :D

Haha! Sounds like something I'd do! I'm quite energetic myself :D

it's not childish,it's not a feeling can put an age limit on.
Am used to do it,but broke the bed during a meltdown and any slightly heavy fall onto it will make it drop to the ground, don't think it's even a year old.

I did it when I was younger, but not anymore. I'm 43 years old and carrying a bit too much weight to do that.

I do that sometimes, particularly if I'm feeling happy.

My bed is older than I am, so I don't think it'd appreciate (or stand up for) me jumping on it. However, I'll take a flying leap onto my mother's bed; she has one of those memory foam mattress thingys though, so it doesn't really bounce (although I'll note that if you put a glass of water on the bed and jump on the other side of it, the glass does indeed fall down; the commercials show that they don't. Not that I tested it or anything...).

YES!
For once being small person gives you an advantage! I don't have to worry about breaking the bed, as I'm just about 115, and if my bed hasn't already broken after 16+ years of wear and tear, then I think it will still be around for a LOT longer. I also like to jump onto my mum's bed, because it is about the height of a trampoline and is wonderfully soft, so it's just too much to resist.

I have a loft bed that's raised about 3 feet off the ground.

I'm afraid I'm not athletic enough. :)

I seem to hop into bed the same way every time (obviously): I just walk up to it and fall face down with a thud and a little bounce; face hitting the pillow (which is the most important material object ever, it's far more useful than a towel).

I'm sure I'd break something if I high jumped into my bed, the bed itself, parts of the house; my body would hold, the objects around me probably wouldn't. And also, I'd ruin the nice and neat row of precious objects I have lined up on the far side of my bed.

Er.. Well at night I do sort of hop into bed, to avoid something under the bed grabbing me under from my ankles. (habit from childhood, that's all.)

I did for a while when I was a kid, going through a something-under-the-bed-might-grab-my-ankles stage. But if I tried it now... well, I only have a twin size bed, so I'd hit the wall. And probably land on a cat.

I do this if i am sleeping in a bed raised off the ground (like at my parents). But my bed is on the floor so when i go to sleep i do this roll over and fall thing and bounce a little. If i am at my boyfriend's playing around i'll do a jump for the bed, it is just fun.
