If there's one thing that defines me as an aspie, it is being anti-tribal. Aspies can never be a tribe, by the very definition of Asperger's.

In my opinion, there are several different tribes under the common heading of Asperger's syndrome. Aspies and Aspergians are just two.

It's no more ridiculous than the Germans being broken up into Saxons, Angles, Alamanni, Sueni, Jutes, Frisians, Franks, etc. or the Greeks being broken up into the Ionians, Dorians, Acheans, etc.

What about the Border Aspies who exhibit both Aspie and NT characteristics and will associate with both NTs and Aspies?

I feel tribal about the Aspie community (and not ll Aspies are part of the Aspie community, and you don't have to have AS to be a part of the Aspie community).

They would belong to one of the marches.
