You say this like it's a bad thing... :)

I'm halfway to 90, and I'm excited this week because at the used-video-game store I found a copy of "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II" for the Xbox. I played through the first game a number of times on my old PS2 (RIP), and always wanted the sequel. I'm also excited because with the aid of my tax refund, I'll soon be getting an Xbox 360, which means Halo 3, Mass Effect, and soon Fable 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV! :)

lol, it's funny. As I read your posts and responses, I feel MUCH better-at least I'm not the only one, and my suspicions about being "a responsible adult" are confirmed... it's a lot more fun being like me, lol, though possibly a bit more hazardous.

about the video games, lol. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a bad thing. I find it rather amusing that while others are concerned about harsh things that occur in their every day life, I tend to think of funny things in relation to it. For instance if confronted with this situation:

guy: Man, this sucks-I lost my job today and my house was robbed last night... (well, not exactly what would be said, but the situation nonetheless)

me: I know what you mean! I can't sell anything lately in WoW, because there are too many tailors, so I switched my profession. While I was farming up materials to skill up, 3 rogues popped out of nowhere and took turns sapping me while they stole my ore!

To tell the truth, I don't feel that I changed a lot during the last decade - I only acquired new knowledge but speaking of growing up as such there's almost no difference between me now and me 10 years ago.
