At the moment, I'm trying to decide whether I want to be a vet or a linguist. When I was little, it was vet all the way.

... a computer programmer. But I need to study if I want to be able to do that. And the fact is, I don't enjoy studying. That leaves me in a pickle of sorts.

I've always been envious of people who always knew what they wanted to do when they grew up. I didn't know until I was over 40. I want to work in the Library! Hey, what do you know, that's what I'm doing. Does that mean I'm grown up?

Yes, I have talked about that before. If I can't be a programmer, I will be a writer... probably even if I do become a programmer, I will be one anyway.

The best way to become a computer programmer is to practice programming.

It's more read a little, and apply what you've read.

In many different situations.

I wasn't very good about studying either. And I'm a pretty good programmer.
