I hope you told her that!

It took me about 5 minutes to figure out what you were referring to. I'm an idiot. =p

At the time, I didn't know HOW to say that and couldn't precisely figure out in words that that was one of the reasons I preferred to avoid her. I knew the reason, but it wasn't yet a conscious, "phrasable in English" kind of thought, but a somewhat emotional, picture-like one.

But that's not the only reason I preferred to avoid her. I stayed away from others very often when I'd get interesting in something, which unfortunately had a tendacy to have others come to me...

My parents haven't complained much about me going out. I remember actually telling my parents "I'm going out now." to which they'd respond "But you always stay home."

I can recall all my teenage years locked in my house. I still do it today. Everyone except my mother prefers to remain at home. My father came up to me about two weeks ago and said "You need to go out, do something. It is no good staying at home all the time. That's why you have this problem (anxiety)." I just ignored him.

My dad complained once. I basically eyed him in a why I hope implied that he didn't have an idea of what he was talking about. that was before my DX though.
I can be happy without large amounts of friends, and that works. It's if I'm forced to be social and have lots of friends when anxiety kicks in.
