Coyote and Sora, that's what it's like with me too. Therapists don't know what to say. They don't seem to get that side of me in therapy sessions that makes everyone avoid me. It's a mystery I don't think I'll ever be able to uncover. And it happens at different stages - it may be hatred at first sight or it can the person months or years to decide they don't want any contact with me.

Mostly, I go out of my way to be nice to people because I've found it the easiest way to handle interactions. When someone meets me they have certain expectations (or hopes) of how I will respond to them. If (often when) I don't meet their expectations, they are put off. Basically, they are putting their s**t on me. and it is ultimately their choice if they choose to be offended.

For me, it's when I open up. I spew-having held so much in for lack of community intelligence-when I think there is someone able to understand it.

I am much like the stench of a carcass, filled with bubblings, and rottings, and chemical morphings. Underneath all that transition of time, one can see, the resembable person, through imagination, but only through imagination and logic; as the transportation of time has occurred-the decomposition has occurred.

Do they see the person as the carcass or do they see beyond the carcass to the person.

In the bubbling rottings I will always be me.

That's quite an image...

A fly off the wall topic

From what I have read here, all you people are very interesting to read and write to. I do not see the problem. :duh:  :?

Reading and writing on a chat page are different than physical interpersonal contact. I know that I feel more comfortable discussing things here because I am removed from worrying about how I will be accepted or if the other person is judging me. If I'm not comfortable around someone then I kind of seize up and say the wrong thing or give the impression of weirdness. It's hard to explain.

Yeah, I think a lot of us need more time to think about what has been said and what we want to say. I think that's because we have to think about these things that do not come to us innately.

That was always a problem with my former friend. He kept accusing me of trying to look smarter than everyone else, when I truly wanted a conversation around the topics I'm interested in... The problem with myself is that when so few seem to know about the things I'm interested in, it's no longer a conversation(thus I have few to talk about these things with offline). And then when I remain quiet, he'd get pissed that I don't talk enough or claim that I'm not enjoying myself or showing respect or appreciation... Frustrating. Annoying. I suppose it didn't help that according to him, I dress like a "deranged psychopath"(I keep wearing clothes until they wear out and see no reason to buy new ones and dislike the thought of supporting sweatshops, thus I still wear the same clothes I had since high school).

I could care less about new movies that have come out, most videogames(I make a few exceptions for certain obscure titles I follow closely), music, or porn.

I have no clue. Probably overall strange and/or awkward behaviors.

My indecisiveness and worry about right and wrong makes me boring sometimes. I'm glad I'm not anymore. I hope I stay like I feel now. :)

The fact that I speak what i'm thinking regardless of what situation i'm in puts people off from me sometimes. I can't help it, it's just who I am...and if people can't accept it then it's their problem.

I'm guessing it's because of my body language. I think I give off the impression for people to stay away, and sometimes I intend that and sometimes I don't. Maybe they are secretly frightened of me. Only a few brave souls dare to approach me.

Also I probably don't talk enough for them or attempt to engage in small talk.
