Wouldn't Ashley/Ashleigh be fitting?

Those are girls names.

Ashley/Ashleigh can be used for both boys and girls but is more commonly used as a girls name.

My brothers went to school with a boy named Teke. Mahogony is also sometimes boy's name.

oooooh, i have a thing about names...

i love finding out the meanings of names. here's a useful website for that:

http://www.behindthename.com/

personally, because of my ethnicity, i prefer welsh and irish names.

That was a cool website. You're welsh and Irish? I have some of both in my background. Of course I've also got Finnish, German and English. I'm quite the melting pot.

www.babynamesworld.com is also a good site for looking up baby names. You can also make a favorites name list, too.

If you think Ashley is too feminine a name, how about Ashby? I agree that Ashley is a girl's name. Have you ever checked the rosters of NCAA Women's gymnastics teams? It seems that every one of them has had at least one or two Ashleys on it over the last few years.

WP is getting filled up with old threads used by members who arent even here anymore,so seems pointless quoting them.
why not start another topic so it applies to those around now.

tiddles or sir eatsalot are good baby names [of the cat baby type, have heard human names a lot worse than that, like playstation].

My first name is a German name derived from Old Icelandic (Edda).

My middle name is of Greek origin, although I'm not Greek.

My last name is of Italian origin.
