Does any one with AS love pets?

I imagine I would love pets but havent ever had one.

I also love Rats but we can't keep them as pets in Alberta, we're supposedly rat free here, I also love the squirrels, we have a whole family of the little buggers begging for peanuts at our window, they are so funny. I can't be around cats, I have a serious allergy to them, thats why I have ferrets which I don't have any allergies to, I absolutely love my ferrets, Bevis, Beansy, and Bouk Bouk and have had pet ferrets since 1989

I like all kinds of animals. I currently have a dog, a snake, and a lizard.

I like my cat, his name is chester he's unique becuase he's a hemingway, I can tolerate dogs but they are to high maintence for me.
I dislike ferrets(one is okay but anymore than that and their cage becomes a mess)

I love pets. I have a cat named Stinker, he weighs 15 pounds. He would be even heavier if he didn't run back and forth through the house 2-3 times a day.

I used to have a zebra finch named Buster, but I gave him to my grandma so she can have a pet.

I also like bunnies, gerbils and birds.

Yes I love pets, my own, other people's pets, farm animals, zoo animals, wild animals, most insects. I'm the kind of person that takes the time to carefully put a spider outside instead of kill it. I bond with animals easily and can show affection for them far better than I can for humans. When I was about 10 and had an ongoing obsession with wild chimpanzees, my sister often joked that I'd be far better off being helicoptered into an African Jungle to live with the chimps. I always agreed with her, and often imagined myself as a jungle girl who can communicate with all the animals. That was one of my favorite daydreams.

I have four cats and two dogs, all of which I love very much, I must admit I like the cats better than the dogs though.
Cats have so much more personality then dogs.

I have had gerbils for coming up 12 years this summer, i know everything abt them any problems this goes for any one msg me. I should be able to point you in the right direction!

They keep me sane and motivated.

I like just about anything that isn't human. except snakes and any kind of bug.

I adore animals (well, except for bugs and spiders). I have two cats right now, and have always had pets growing up. I've had cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, birds, and fish. I feel I get along better with animals than I do with people. Three years ago we found a litter of stray kittens outside in the industrial yard at my workplace, and I was the one who took care of them, tamed them to be okay with humans, and found a respectable orphan kitten group to take them (I did take one home myself ). Three months later we found another litter and everyone brought them straight to me. They called me the "cat whisperer". LOL. (BTW, that time I got mama cat taken care of too so that she wouldn't have any more babies in our yard - she was humanely caught, spayed, and is living with a rescue group now).

I love my dog.

I love cats.. alot of people with AS love cats. I guess it's an aspie trait. There are members here with multiple cats.

Yes, especially cats. I have ten cats and one dog.

I wouldn't be able to make it if i didn't have the motivation of taking care of my dog. I don't think i would get anything done if it wasn't for her.
