INTJ

I get ENFP/INFP on the Myers-Bryggs test, occasionally ESFP/ISFP, when the questions are too few. The introversion/extroversion is about 50/50, the feeling component is around 75 or more, so is the intuitive component (even though the sensory traits I do have are quite pronounced as well), and the perceiving component is usually up to 75.

I don't remember exactly what I had on the last Big 3 or Big 5 test I did, but as far as I remember, it was low neuroticism (used to be higher when I was a teen), low lie scale, low psychoticism, moderate extroversion, moderate to high conscientiousness, high openness to experience and high agreeableness.

Out of the archetypal female types, I guess I identify most with Artemis, and, to an extent, with Hestia and Demeter as well (I'm an odd combination of the maternal/nurturing and the wildlife-loving/adventurous/androgynous types).

Sorry Anemone, but most of the personalities seem to apply about half and not apply half (Artemis/Athena/Hestia/Persephone/Aphrodite). Maybe they're too specific for me. The decision tree just made me more confused: I don't understand how to take apart and assign value to "what I do" and "who I'm with" separately. Do you know any other way to explain it?

A good question. I'm trying to remember how I first figured it out (I started doing personality theory a long time ago, more than 20 years, and at first I found it confusing).

You know the party game in What Color Is Your Parachute? Something similar might work, except the question might be: which group of people the same sex as you are you least likely to have misunderstandings/personality clashes with?

I was most likely to sit next to someone in school who was the same type as me, and I think we were more likely to end up in the same school clubs as well.

When I was young, I wasn't sure who I was allowed to be, so for me another question might have been: who do I wish I'm allowed to be like? (As opposed to: whose abilities do I wish I had?)

I'm sorry this is so much harder than I thought, but I'm glad people are providing feedback.

It does seem like there's a steep learning curve to personality systems (at least for me). I understand Myers-Briggs and Enneagram well enough these days, but still find the other systems confusing. Honestly I can't really answer a lot of your clarifying questions either; I have never really felt that it was a possibility or desirable to be other than who I have been, and I spoke with whomever happened to sit near me in classes. But I could knock off Athena and Hestia as women I have shared persistent misunderstandings and fundamental disagreements with in the past. The other three goddesses seem like the same woman in different moods. When I try to decide between them, I feel as though I have the most in common with whichever profile I read last.

Is there a definitive trait for Artemis, Persephone, and Aphrodite? Or do women who have trouble deciding between them or deciding in general usually fall into one particular category?

On second thought, I think I fit Poseidon better then Hephaestus, though the best fit would be a new "Prometheus" archetype that fuses the emotional convictions and idealism of the Poseidon archetype and the introversion, technical genius, and communication troubles of the Hephaestus archetype.

I identify most with Persephone among the female types and Hades among the male types. More with Persephone than with Hades.
