Or is is pretty black and white? Either you are NT or on the Spectrum?

I suppose.maybe you could be just the borderline of something.Or whatever.

I dunno. I know I have quite a few Aspie traits, yet I have also been decently successful in the majority of social situations I've been in. I find it's getting worse (the social part) as I get older, but maybe I'm just out of practice with people?

I think this is probably the best explanation for my sensory issues.

If its night time and the street lights are on,i can see little halos and streaks emitting from them.

Can anyone else see this?is it an aspie thing?

I don't see halos, but see the streaks.

Also,i can hear soft buzzing from from my computer.does anyone else hear when they are near a computer?

Yes.

Or,if i focus on a my pillow enough in bed i can tell if there's dust mites or an insect underneath it.

No. I hope that means there are no mites or any other insects!

The last thing i feel is my brain working.

I know what you mean.

If i see something bright and colourful the back of my head gets this tingly sensation on it.

My head would also get a tingly sensation at the back and lower sides, but it was completely random (I don't know what triggered it). It's gone now, I haven't felt it for quite a while.

If i hear something then sensations are in the middle of my head.

No.

And if i touch something i can feel senstaion traveling up through whatever body part, through the rest of me and too my brain.

No.

I get those sensations travelling through my body a lot from different things touching me, sometimes it's pleasant and sometimes horrible. For the longest time, I had a huge problem getting blood taken because of it. It was really unbearable. I can control it better now, though.

I'm curious, when you would get the tingley sensation in your head, would it go away on its own? When did you start getting it?

I hope you don't mind my asking these questions.

I don't mind at all!

Well...since i'm always touching something(like feeling the fabric in my clothes),its always there.

It sort of shoots up when i first touch it then becomes..not really less..just i get used to it...so i don't notice it as much.

I get it on my upper back as well.

As for sight, taste or sound, if I turn my head, cover my ears or look away its gone.

Over all i've had it my whole life,so i know nothing but it, even though i know it isn't the most "normal thing".

i hope thats a good explanation. :D

It's a good explanation, thanks. :)

And do you feel pressure besides the tingely sensation? As if there was a band around your lower head?

I don't mean to hijack this thread, I'm asking because I would get it for a while (not anymore) and I wonder what it is. I mentioned it to my pdoc and she doesn't think it's anything, and it went away on its own so it most probably isn't. I'm actually glad someone else says they also get it.

Honestly i don't know.

its not a band wrapped round.its like a helmet type thing...only very light so i know that isn't what it is.
