When I'm at home I invariably wear flannel sweats and cotton tanks, with flip flops because I don't like the carpet touching me.

I never was fashion conscious but lately I have been fascinated with the effects of lipstick, skirts, heels, and 1940's hairstyles on men. So I do like to pin my hair, wear heels, and the like. But, I only wear heels for an hour or so and I'm back to my flip flops.

I don't feel comfortable unless I'm wearing a jacket.

I don't have any particular fashion style. But:

I love cargo trousers, and dislike jeans. But I do wear jeans, because it's hard to find any kind of trousers that fit me. I hate wearing trousers that are hanging too loose around my legs.

I love wearing skirts and shorts. I need to get another one or two skirts for this summer. I only have one that hopefully still fits.

I dislike many kinds of sleeves, especially long sleeves. I often wear tops without any sleeves. But then, I sometimes do like jackets or long-sleeved shirts with hoods too. It all depends on the piece of clothing.

I dislike jumpers, I only have three red ones I like - jumpers must be red - and a blue one that looks good but... I just don't particularly like it.

I love short sneaker socks that have a fuzzy sole.

For cold days, I now have a beautiful corduroy coat. I love corduroy stuff, my absolute favourite textile.

I hate silk and other not-soft textures that remember me of plastic. Most of my clothes are probably cotton. I won't bother checking.

Change of Habit? topic

Ah, sensory issues. No tags, no wool, no scratchy fabrics. Everything must soft and malleable. No heels or 'heelys.' And I hate changing clothes. I could wear the same thing, day or night, though this is not recommended, due to hygiene. I have clothes aged 20 years, even socks! I wear tight jeans because I do not like wind whistling through the fabric. :x

I like wearing colorful shirts and sweaters with designs or sayings on them, and either jeans, shorts or sweatpants depending on the weather.

I like to wear long skirts, loose fitting jeans, loose fitting paisley shirts, never, never, never and spandex. Plain natural & soft fabrics, NO tags. Love to wear high heels because I'm 5' and like the height they add. Since I can't wear heels for long, I try to find comfortable platform shoes or sandals so my weight is not forced down on the toes or balls of my feet. The extra height is really helpful in my kitchen and brings the work areas down to my level or allows me to reach items in my cabinets more easily. I like hats, especially all types of berets. I love jewelry, doesn't have to be expensive, but must be unique and colorful.

I wear Linux-related t-shirts and similar things quite often. Add generic trousers and sandals and you get a pretty good idea of this person's clothing habits. 8)

Sturdy shoes (hiking shoes in winter; running shoes in summer). Never high heels or winter boots (can't stand the feel of wearing boots that come past ankles).
Jeans in winter (four pairs of the same kind in different shades); jeans or shorts in summer (five pairs, two kinds, different colors).
Long-sleeved shirts in winter (five shirts, same kind, three colors); T-shirts in summer.
Sweaters in winter (four sweaters, same kind, different colors); a hat in summer (only one hat).

I'm like one of those mix-'n'-match books. I wear the same clothes every day, just swap the colors.
Nothing is baggy (I hate the feel of loose clothing brushing my skin), but nothing is skin-tight either. Just fitted.

... Yeah, I'm nondescript.

Edit: Question - does anyone else have trouble with hats? I found that I cannot wear loose hats as they won't stay in the same position, and I cannot wear baseball caps because they "squeeze" my head and give me headaches. I am only able to wear one hat that has no fit adjustment and fortunately stays in place without squeezing.

I usually wear blue jeans and a tight black jumper.

I'm fairly easy about clothes, but I definitely gravitate toward older styles. LOVE rhinestone jewelry. Wear soft cords and turtlenecks, etc in winter. Wear capris and t-shirts or tops in summer. Never EVER jeans. No shorts (I'm way too fat for those in these days). No shoes that show toes. I hate my toes sticking out. No extra tight things. I like boxy heels, not too crazy about tennis shoes, but gravitate toward indoor soccer shoes or skateboard shoes. Don't mind tags in back, usually, but can't stand that they are starting to put them in the sides of the shirt, now. I wear alot of skirts and dresses because I'm generally not too crazy about pants in general.

I usually always wear a loose flowy skirt with a nice blouse and high heels. High heels do not hurt me at all. (At least the ones that I have. I never buy uncomfortable shoes. They have to look good and feel good.)
In fact, I can't wear anything but high heels; it actually hurts to wear flat shoes or very low-heeled shoes. I must have four or more inches of added height.
A couple of weeks ago, my mom made me wear sneakers JUST because she was sick of seeing me wear heels all the time.
My legs were aching so badly the next few days because of that.

And I wear mostly skirts because they are more comfortable.
I just hate it when people ask me, "Why are you so dressed up all the time?" In my opinion, this isn't dressed up! It's definitely more comfortable than tight jeans!
