I only argue when I know I have facts to back up my statement. NT's seem to resent this, though, and everyone I know hates being proved wrong and will not admit when they're wrong, even when the facts are RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES!

If I'm ever proved wrong, which is rarely, I admit it, apologize, and I thank that person for correcting my point of view. After all, I don't want to continue believing the wrong things. :)

I don't see "arguing" as a way to elevate myself, I see it as a way to interact; I don't mind if I'm wrong, I actually like being proven wrong.

Since I don't care for social conventions at all, one can see why I wouldn't care if I'm right or wrong; neither make a person better or worst than another, unless one cares for status to the rest of society by comparing how often they're right to others.

A guy I knew once always argued that there are 3 Mortal Kombat films , there's only 2 & I'm willing to bet a bazillion on it lol (he might've seen a movie consisted of the TV series weaved together but it DOES NOT count as an official movie......period lol)

Also a poster dealer refused to accept that a Some like it Hot poster with a "T" logo is early 70s re-release ("T" Transamerica logo wasn't invented before 1967.....) , 1959 1st release had hexagon logo....I should bloody well know this as it'll arrive in my mail box soon , linen backed to booth lol

Why do you think he argued...it was because some guy bid & paid over 1k for it , that's why lol

My husband says I get a look in my eyes and he knows that he's about to be proven wrong somehow. Before I can even say anything he says, "Go ahead.. Google it. I know you're going to." LOL 99% of my conversations with people are "arguments" of some sort. I just can't stand when someone says something that either I know for a fact is wrong, or it just doesn't.. sound.. right. I can't think about anything else until I figure out the truth by book, internet, etc. Days have been lost while I search for the "right" answer to things. Its something I enjoy I guess.

OMG... I can never let an argument go if I know I'm right. I will go on and on and on about it until the other person gives in and says I'm right. It's especially frustrating to me when it's something I know a lot about and the other person just has a passing interest or no interest in it at all. It's easier for the other person just to tell me I'm right and let me move on. :)

I hate it when I am wrong about stuff, it makes me feel stupid.

When I am not sure about something, I say so. I don't argue the facts unless I know I'm correct. If I am not sure about something, I don''t argue it.
