I used to have a japanese schoolgirl costume I sometimes wore for fun. I also had pants with a tail attached. I've always wanted to have a tail. It's more subtle than the entire cat costume.

My son likes to wear his ducky costume about every other week or so.

Wow, thanks for the feedback.
I shouldn't have spent all day worrying that I'd come back to a thread of "you can't be an aspie" replies.
Before, it didn't make sense to me why I love dressing up and being around people but some very good points have been made and now I understand. :)

I know this is probably not what was meant but I were a costume of some sorts. I find my self drawn to these superhero shirts like the superman S or the Batman symbol. My most recent is the Green lantern. Sounds silly but I think they help me in some way be more confident, although I must look like a total dork, but I just dont care. LOL

By the way love the Crazy Cat lady costume VEL

Ok when I was in school, the show power ranger was very popular and I looked exactly like The blue power ranger Billy. That part is fact. People started to notice this and made comments on it. I soon started wearing nothing but blue clothes, for those that did not watch this show, the characters always wore the color of the power ranger that they were. So I wore blue so that I could "be" him in a way so that is another form of costume that people can wear. Because I looked like him and dressed the way he did I became him in a way. (I already acted like him, the techno geek that everyone always came to for help and the answers . LOl) I hope this doesnt make me sound like a total loser, no one ever caught on to this because they thought I looked like him to begin with

i have abslutley no time for fashion

i wear clothes with the stars and stripes on the majority of the time

Image
there is one such photo of me - with a 9x17 ft american flag

i enjoy weaein clothes like this because
1: i love the flag
2:i love the way it looks on me
3:i think its great
4: i like the majority of comments i recieve while i wear this stuff

i guess a part of it is because peope always use to ignore me and now i wear these clothes and peope dont ignore me anymore
i enjoy the attention i guess

of course with this - and living in the uk - i guet a small amount of negative comments such as u r a bush supporter and the usa sucks and u look like a clown and did u just come out of the circus

but i have been bulied all my life whatever i have done so i figure i may aswll enjoy myself and all the nice comments i get - i just ignore the bad ones and move on

*** WONDER WOMAN ***

i'm skinny again too, so i could pull it off. i just didn't have the nerve last halloween. we'll see about this year.

my lil guy wore the same darth vader costume the last 2 halloweens... with MUCH time in between this past year. he usually calls himself (or asks that we call him) anakin, though, and doesn't wear the mask. (i'd probably get really creeped if he did.)

he and i are both way into the skull n crossbones thing. faddish, yeah, but i know i'll still be wearing it 10 years from now (when he's gotten old enough to realize how different our family really is). i'm also a reformed 90s raver- still like to get "all dressed up" now and again in my plastic jewelry (bonus points if you won it yourself playing arcade games) and frosted eyeshadow.

ita with the PP who said everyone wears costumes. sheesh, just look at all the money put into body hair removal. 8O
