It was people noticing me coming in late that I hated the idea of. In university, if I overslept and ended up more than about five minutes late for a lecture, I'd prefer to just not go at all and just look at the lecture slides online later...

Being late certainly makes me feel very anxious, but I suspect that's the way it is for most people.
